Omkoi is in the province of Chaing-Mai, Northern Thailand. It is a beautiful location which is unspoiled from tourists..Yes you do get tourists going to certain locations for a jungle trek but mostly these treks are only about an hour or two from the city. You have to really travel through the hills to get to beautiful locations like the village in Omkoi website. To be welcomed into the Village you will have to be invited other wise you do not have any where to stay for the night.. Also it is not recommended to go uninvited..
